If you are looking for something fun to do, learn something new or just enjoy working with other artists, drop by the NEW La Calzada Centro de Arte located on Calle La Calzada.

The art center offers classes in painting whether it is watercolor, acrylic or oils. You can join the open studio Wednesday, Friday and Sunday 9am-12pm or take private instruction from co-owner Amy Bushnell, by appointment. Amy also offers children and teen classes every Saturday. Most supplies are included and the cost is minimal, however, the experience is priceless.

Mosaic classes are also available every Monday-Saturday at 1:30 pm-4pm. With a single class, most students can complete a project to take with them. The classes include all materials and instruction. The cost is about $5.00.

We also offer special classes in art forms such as stain glass, card making, custom handbags and more. If you have an art form you would like to share, we would love to have you be a guest artist.
